Signing Event between L’Institut Agro and GSA Held Online

The signing event for department-level MOU and Student Exchange Agreement between l’Institut Agro in France and the Graduate School of Agriculture (GSA) was held online on December 6. L’Institut Agro was established in January 2020 by merging Montpellier SupAgro and Agrocampus Ouest. (AgroSup Dijon is also joining the institution in 2022.)

In the event, general introduction about l’Institut Agro was given to GSA participants, looking back collaboration history. Faculty members of both institutions including Dr. Haruhiko Iba (hosted by Institut Agro | Montpellier SupAgro) and Dr. Fatiha Fort (hosted by GSA) also presented their research activities in progress. In the discussion, it was suggested that a similar event be scheduled regularly to further develop research exchange between the two institutions.

By renewing the agreements with l’Institut Agro, future collaboration in a wider range of fields is expected.
