NTU-GSAKU Joint Horticulture Workshop (5-6 September 2016)

College of Bioresources and Agriculture (CBA), National Taiwan University (NTU) and Graduate School of Agriculture (GSA), Kyoto University (KU) held the Joint Horticulture Workshop on 5 and 6 September. Approximately 50 professors and students from each university participated in the workshop.

Following the opening addresses made by Deans Hisashi Miyagawa and Yuan-Tay Shyu of GSAKU and CBANTU respectively, the participants introduced their researches. NTU and KU professors visited the CBANTU’s satellite office at GSAKU after lunch break.

On the second day, the participants went on an excursion to KU’s Kizu Experimental Farm, University Farm of Kyoto Prefectural University, Kyoto Prefectural Institute of Agricultural Biotechnology, and Yamato-Tea Research Center of Nara Prefecture Agricultural Research and Development Center.

NTU and KU students stayed together at the Kizu Experimental Farm and strengthened their friendship.
