Class Schedule of Graduate School

Class schdule of Graduate School of Agriculture is prepared and distributed by each division office. Please direct enquiries to division offices.

Changes to classes and examinations of Faculty/Graduate School of Agriculture in the event of adverse weather warnings or suspension of public transport services

In the vent of an adverse weather warning or complete suspension of public transport services, classes and examinations will be dealt with according to the guidelines mentioned below to prevent students from getting involved in accidents.

1, Class cancellation and examination postponement

[1] In the event of (1) or (2) below, classes will be cancelled and examinations will be postponed.

(1) In the event a storm warning is issued in Kyoto City or any district therein, or in any instance applying to (A) or (B) below:

(A) If all bus services operated by Kyoto City are suspended

(B) If three or more of the following services are totally or partially suspented: JR West (lines arriving to and departing from Kyoto), Hankyu trains (between Kawaramachi and Umeda), Keihan trains (between Demachiyanagi and Yodoyabashi/Nakanoshima), Kintetsu trains (between Kyoto and Saidaiji)

(2) When deemed appropriate by the Dean of the Faculty/Graduate School of Agriculture

[2] If (1) or (2) above occurs after classes or examinations have commenced, classes will be cancelled and examinations will be postponed.

2, Class and examination schedule after the storm warning is lifted and public transport services recommence

If the storm warning is lifted or public transport services recommence, the class and examination schedules shall accord with the guidelines mentioned below:

[1] If the warning is lifted or transport services commence before 6:30 a.m., classes/examinations will start from 1st period.

[2] If the warning is lifted or transport services commence before 10:30 a.m., classes/examinations will start from 3rd period.

[3] If the warning is lifted or transport services don’t commence after 10:30 a.m., classes/examinations will be cancelled for the day.

3, Confirmation and notification of public transport services after an adverse weather warniing has been issued or lifted

[1] Adverse weather warnings shall be issued/lifted and status of public transport service operations should be checked by TV/Radio etc.

[2] If classes or examinations start from the 1st period and either [1] above or [2] occurs, notifications shall be issued via the bulletin boards.
